Washington DC Wedding Photojournalism - His And Her Photography
Images by Drew and Alexis

A few weeks ago we had the great pleasure of photographing a most excellent celebration at the Woodend Sanctuary in Chevy Chase, Maryland. Lopaka and Jocelyn were married on a gorgeous fall day among an intimate gathering of family and friends. We also did a fun engagement shoot with Lopaka and Jocelyn at the 18th Street Lounge earlier this year. The wedding day was amazing and the brilliant energy and beautiful setting made our jobs an absolute pleasure. Here are a few images from their story:

  1. Drew and Alexis,
These are so well done, of course….
Thank you for capturing the spirit of our day so perfectly. The wedding day went by so quickly, it’s difficult to remember how all of the pieces, the details, and the people fit together in one space in time. Thank you, THANK YOU for helping me remember.

    With so much appreciation, –Jocelyn.

  4. A quick preview and you feel like it was just a few days ago, what a great couple you are and everyone looks so happy and care free.

These pictures captured and hold this special day for Jocelyn & Lopaka to forever enjoy and what great snap shots of all those moments that you and Paka may have forgotten.

Alexis and Drew, truly remarkable photos, thanks for the memories.

Thanks for the kind words and sentiment. We had a great time photographing. It was a really incredible day. The Woodend Sanctuary was such a great setting — and your family and friends were much fun to work with. Thanks again for inviting us to be a part of it all!!
